Optimise building drainage with BATIFIBRE® fittings
The purpose of building drainage is to prevent water stagnation, which could lead to capillary rise resulting in water infiltration or mould, as well as hydrostatic pressure causing cracks. It involves installing a water drainage system around the perimeter of the foundations to protect the building from moisture. For effective groundwater drainage, ATE has developed the BATIFIBRE® range of gravel-free drains and drainage fittings.
In France, the use of agricultural drains or spreader pipes for foundation drainage is prohibits. It is therefore essential to choose a solution that is suitable for the building. BATIFIBRE® is a technology with a technical approval (TECHNICAL APPROVAL No. 17.2/16-317) and QB certification (-68-01-317) from the CSTB. It improves the durability of your building while simplifying the installation of the drainage system. BATIFIBRE® fittings allow the connection of two BATIFIBRE® or BATIDRAIN drains, as well as a BATIFIBRE® or BATIDRAIN drain and a 100 mm diameter PVC pipe.

BATIFIBRE® fittings make it easy to connect drainage pipes. The presence of lugs ensures quick assembly and optimal hold. SN4-certified sleeves, elbows and inspection chambers are equipped with a flat channel. This ensures proper water flow and the strength of the drainage system. ATE offers a complete range of fittings:
- The 90° wide-angle elbow and 45° elbow for changes in direction
- The inspection chamber for inspection and maintenance of the drainage network
- The Ø90/100 adapter sleeve for connecting two drains or a drain to a PVC accessory
- The plug, to close the end of the drain at the start of the network.
Each of these building drainage solutions can be adapted to any site configuration. All BATIFIBRE® drainage fittings are SN4 certified, with resistance adapted to the constraints of the building.
BATIFIBRE fittings, easy to install
Unlike traditional PVC glue-on fittings, BATIFIBRE® push-fit fittings are quicker and easier to install. Thanks to their ingenious design, they require no glue or drying time, thus reducing installation time. In addition, their snap-fit assembly system ensures a secure and durable connection, minimising the risk of disconnection. This innovative solution guarantees greater adaptability to construction sites while limiting handling and installation errors.
Like BATIFIBRE and BATIDRAIN drains, the new BATIFIBRE connectors also have a flat channel that fits perfectly with the drain to ensure continuous water flow. This new range of BATIFIBRE fittings improves drainage compared to the old connection method using traditional cylindrical PVC connectors. Water flows perfectly!
